How should we store our wood pellets?
The best place to store your pellets is inside, in a dry place. If you must store your pellets outside, the best way to keep them dry is to place something underneath them (like a shipping pallet) and a tarp over the top. Our pellets are extremely dry and if you allow any moisture near them, they will absorb it. It's very important not to let the pellets get wet. We recommend you keep the pallet cover bag over each ton of pellets to keep the water out. The 40 pound bags are not waterproof by themselves and need to be protected.
We ship our pellets with each ton covered in a plastic bag and wrapped in stretch film with a liner underneath, on top of a shipping pallet.
